Young people and families
We want to help local young people develop to their full potential by offering opportunities to become involved in new and different activities which will build confidence, social skills and increase their friendship networks and allow them to contribute constructively to their communities.
School holiday activities
These include sports activities for four to 13 year olds such as youth centre camps and outdoor activities for school age and younger children, to help support families during the holidays. This can help the children keep active, allow them to make new friends and give them new and challenging opportunities. Activities can help children socially, improve self-confidence, and feel healthier as well as improve family relationships and help parents to be able to work in the school holidays.
Call us on 01344 382833 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest and we will contact you as events come up.
Quotes from parents at the Wayz, Playstation and St Michael's Club:
"My daughter loves going to the Wayz and she looks forward to going. It enables her to have days out that I couldn't afford and make new friends."
My two girls enjoyed the day very much... lots of things to do and they came away with things they had not done before."
My boy gets bored easily but really enjoyed the Wayz. He didn’t stop talking about how good it was and he's eager to go back. Thank you."
“The staff are beyond expectations, very professional and approachable. They always made my child welcome and she can't wait for her next session."
“The activities are all really well run.”
“They loved it.”
“The children loved the events. Shokk and Wayz were their favourites. They are very lucky to be able to access such a great programme.”
